W. H. Lyon Reminiscences, . 1920

W. H. Lyon was a lieutenant in Company I, 6th North Carolina Infantry Regiment, Confederate States of America. The collection is memories of the Civil War by Lyon, who served with a North Carolina Regiment at the First Battle of Bull Run and in other actions, until he was captured and imprisoned at Point Lookout, Md., in 1863. The reminiscences describe Lyon's feelings about the war and about Stonewall Jackson more than they describe the events of the war.
